<p>The Courtyard Suite Dreams Contest project was a competition associated with the world-famous NFL Super Bowl. Our client needed an experienced development team to create a system for tracking competition-related posts on Instagram and Twitter and then presenting them on a webpage that also included the rules, tasks, and results of the competition.</p><p>Codete has directly handled the technical aspects and processes of the project. We implemented a solution for downloading competition-related content from Instagram and Twitter at appropriate intervals, developed an intuitive admin panel and delivered a website for the contest. Our team relied mainly on PHP and Symfony 2.</p>

<p>The NFL needed an experienced development team to create a system for tracking Instagram and Twitter posts related to their video contest, and presenting them on a dedicated landing page together with its results and conditions. The contest was divided into four quiz stages followed by voting, score counting, and publishing the scores.&nbsp;</p><p>We were responsible for all of the technical aspects of the project. These included: the system for tracking and downloading content at set intervals itself, an administration panel, and a complimentary quiz website for the public with all the content, score estimates, and social media share options.</p>

<p>Fyber’s digital product is aimed at app and game developers who want to monetize their applications by swift and simple integration with advertisers. This is an ongoing project in which we took care of the maintenance, but also added several new features to our client’s mobile app, eventually becoming an essential part of the company’s IT department.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Our team has been responsible for several areas around the project, such as mobile development, team management, writing and preparing documentation for the app’s users, creating new integrations with advertisers, and maintaining existing integrations.</p>

<p>Our partner lacked development resources to finish some of their ongoing projects and meet the market needs. We have taken over maintenance in one of such projects and added several new features to our client’s product. The product is designed for application and game developers who want to place themselves in a commercial environment and integrate with ad providers in a fast and simple way.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><div class="raw-html-embed"><h3>Improving product development with proven technology &amp; autonomous dedicated team</h3></div><p>A dedicated team was formed for mobile development, complete with a team leader. The project was ongoing, and we have taken part in its maintenance and development of new features. Legacy code remained. The Codete team was fully autonomous, no one from the client’s side was involved in the technical part of our tasks. We were responsible for a variety of areas surrounding the project, including development, team management, providing documentation for users, creating new integrations with advertisers, and maintenance of existing integrations.</p><p>The technical solution was to use the Fyber SDK application so that the user would not need to bother with writing additional code to integrate various advertisers, nor have to implement their own highest-profit advertisement selection mechanism. The goal was to make it hassle-free by adding a library and some adaptors, as well as the option for setting configuration in the dashboard.</p>

<div class="raw-html-embed"><h3>Backend development: Improving software testing</h3></div><p>The client needed to create a backend platform for test automation that would enable, facilitate and speed up their automated testing. The company’s e-commerce platform features a vast number of articles, payments processing pages, product types, and numerous layouts – all of which made testing very challenging.&nbsp;</p><p>We provided Home24 with a dedicated team of software developers who performed the initial research and suggested a tool for automatic acceptance tests – Codeception. The team then proceeded with the development of a custom backend testing system for running automated tests. We discovered and solved a problem that emerged in script development and parallel test performance, all the while keeping resource access under control. The new platform empowers developers to deliver new tests quickly and has greatly increased code coverage.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><div class="raw-html-embed"><h3>Frontend development: Feature-driven development</h3></div><p>A team composed of two skilled frontend developers is responsible for creating Home24’s frontend components using the latest technologies. So far, the team has been involved in building a platform that delivers React components. The service is developed in Node.js, based on the Serverless framework. Our engineers have participated in a two-week-long onboarding process at the client’s headquarters in Berlin, as we offer the opportunity to work onsite with the client. In the future, we plan to expand the Home24 dedicated development team and scale it to meet all of our client’s needs.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><div class="raw-html-embed"><h3>Mobile development: Introducing emerging technologies</h3></div><p>Our team of mobile developers was initially involved in completing the rewrite of Home24’s mobile application to Swift. Following its publication, we were responsible for support, building new functionalities, and eliminating legacy code. We cleared the majority of dependencies and covered most of the code with unit tests. We successfully automated most of the processes using Fastlane, and integrated them with the App Center, building Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines. The Codete dedicated mobile team now aims to modularize our partner’s mobile applications and create a coherent system of components for building new functionalities – for example, for displaying furniture models with augmented reality (AR).</p>
